John Ogu and Hapoel Beer Sheva were trounced in their Champions League playoff first leg against Celtic, falling to a 5-2 defeat. The Israeli champions can take some confidence from their comeback, as they fought back from 3-0 down to give the Glasgow giants an almighty scare, even if Brendan Rodgers’ side ultimately ran out comfortable winners. Ogu and co. surely can’t summon the spirit of last season to see them through…can they?
