KEYS TO SEEING IN THE SPIRIT part II by Dr D.K. Olukoya

Scripture: Ezekiel 8:7-17

MESSAGE:

We looked at some scriptures last week, and so today, we pick it up from that place and see how far the Holy Spirit will lead us. But today, we are looking at a key passage in the realm of seeing in the spirit.

Remember last week that I told you that the spirit realm is an arena of:

~ mystery

~ deep revelations 

~ negative and positive display of power

~ utterances that are difficult to utter

~ shocking things that will shake you.

And I began to explain to you that a man is a spirit living in a body, having a soul. Just like your body has eyes and can use the eyes to navigate your journey, the spirit man too has eyes. But since in Adam all died, that spiritual blindness came upon men, and men can no longer see into the two worlds unless those eyes are opened. You and I have arrived at a junction where we need to have our eyes spiritually opened.

•••> May God show you a hole in the wall today, in the name of Jesus.

What Ezekiel was seeing in the wall was not physical. The Lord took Ezekiel to see what the Israelites were doing in the dark. He wanted him to see it because when Ezekiel saw it:

1. He would not forget.

2. He would be able to pray accurate prayer to stop it,

3. He would be able to differentiate between the friends and the enemies.

•••> I am praying for somebody here, the miracle of open eyes that would enable you to discern your battle, receive that miracle now, in the name of Jesus.

Seeing into the spirit realm is a key matter.

•••> I am praying once again that every gathering of the coven against your life, every decision of the power of darkness to frustrate, annoy your destiny and to rubbish your progress, as you shout a seven fold amen, they are frustrated, in the name of Jesus.

•••> I am praying for somebody here, every clever agenda to distract you, to push you away from where you should go, to push you into useless assignments, I scatter them now, in the name of Jesus.

I want to pray for somebody here, I do not know who you are:

•••> I decree upon your life, any demon attached to your family name that is currently trying to rubbish your future, I bind them and I cast them out in the name of Jesus! (A seven-fold Amen).

A lot of people have been fed by the enemy, breast fed by the enemy, barbed by the enemy, hair plaited by the enemy; at a time you did not know your left hand from your right hand, they have rearranged your life.

•••> I am praying for somebody here, every satanic rearrangement that was done on your life before you became conscious, receive your deliverance, in the name of Jesus.

God has given believers power that we do not use. You have been doing a business which has been doing well before, but just started doing badly, and there are contestants on the street taking away your customers. If your eyes are not open to see the problem, you will not be able to pray specific, targeted prayers; and prayers have to be specific to resolve the problem.

•••> I am praying for somebody here today, that any power that wants to swallow your benefits, or if you have a business here, a school or something you are running; any power digging a hole at the front of your business place, let that power die, in the name of Jesus! Let the hole backfire, in the name of Jesus.

I hope you are following me? I am telling you all these so you know how to pray when we start prayers now, because we are going to pray some prayers here today; the prayers that openeth the eyes.

•••> I am praying one more time, if there is anything placed at the front of your business to swallow your profit and swallow your progress, from this very altar here, I set them on fire, in the name of Jesus.

Seeing into the spirit realm is having your spiritual eyes opened. It is having revelational dreams, visions, trances, expressions, visitations.

Listen beloveth, something that happens in the physical would have been rehearsed in the spirit. That is why it is possible for somebody to pray to pass an examination that is coming in two weeks time, and an angel comes to him in the dream and shows him all the questions and answers and when he gets there, he finds it exactly like that.

•••> May you develop supernatural vision in the name of Jesus!

Seeing into the spirit:

~ is having spiritual sight

~ is becoming a seer.

~ is having access into the spirit realm. And you know, power is for you to have access to the mysteries of God. That is a simple definition of power: access to the mysteries of God.

~ is having your head in heaven. Your body is here, but your head is in that place.

That is why it is not a very good thing when they are calling for communion service and because of sin, wickedness, carelessness, unforgiveness, you cannot participate. Because of polygamy, going all over the place, you cannot participate. You cannot have your head in heaven if you are like that. 

When your head is there and your body is here, you can have an insight into what they are doing, just like that prophet Micaiah who was seeing the committee meeting held in heaven and he heard their discussions. The thing had not happened, they were just planning it for it to happen, and the prophet saw them. He advised that King Ahab "do not go to this battle, evil has been determined against you from heaven. If you go, you will not come back". 

And the man said he was going. And Micaiah said "hear all ye people! If he comes back, then the Lord has not sent me". He did not come back. The man who killed him did not fire the arrow at him. He just fired it into the sky and the thing found its way into the King's heart. But somebody saw it in the spirit realm that it was going to happen.

Seeing into the spirit realm is for you to become part of the company of prophets. Every man should be a prophet of God.

When you begin to see into the spirit realm like I have been describing to you:

~ fear becomes an alien commodity in your life. You are no longer afraid. 

~ you no longer see men after the flesh alone. You will know them for who they are. 

•••> I am praying that your enemies will run and flee in terror, in the name of Jesus.

When you begin to see into the spirit realm:

~ you begin to gain access to the secrets of God.

~ you have more confidence in God.

~ you become a divine phenomenon. You become a voice that has recognition in heaven and in hell.

~ you become more secure because you can see.

~ you become a champion of situations.

~ you avoid walking into the enemy's trap.

~ you become a student in the school of revelation.

There is a physical realm. There is a spiritual realm. The psalmist was not joking when he prayed "open thou my eyes that I may behold wondrous things". God opened the eyes of Ezekiel here and he was able to dismantle those powers. You need the mystery of the open eyes to operate in your life; particularly in a strange year like this.

•••> May your spiritual eyes be opened, in the name of Jesus.

13. O God arise, give me divine dreams that will change my story, in the name of Jesus. 

14. Powers polluting my dream and vision, you are liars, die in the name of Jesus. 

15. The hole in the wall that will expose and disgrace my enemies, manifest, in the name of Jesus.

16. Sing: God of Elijah open my eyes, God of Elijah open my eyes, God of Elijah open my eyes, God of Elijah open my eyes. (Your homework for today is to put your two hands on your eyes and sing it for 5 minutes before you sleep).

17. Secrets of my father's house, secrets of my mother's house that I need to know to move my life forward, be revealed in the name of Jesus.

Luke 13:24 "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able."

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

MESSAGE:

The Almighty God has been showing inestimable love and affection to mankind right from the beginning of time. Despite the wilful disobedience of man to God's instruction not to eat of the forbidden fruit, God still made a way of redemption for man through the death and resurrection of His begotten Son - Jesus Christ. What a great love! For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

It is clear from the Scripture that God has concluded the plan of salvation for humanity. It is not the pleasure of the Lord God that anyone should miss eternity with Him in paradise and end up in eternal perdition. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

However, beloved, from our Fire Scripture for today, the painful reality is that many believers shall be left behind when the Master comes for His own. We have read the lamentable plea of those left behind: "Oh Master, we had relationship with You; we enjoyed fellowship with You; we attended Your teaching programmes, etc." Unfortunately, it was too late for them. Dear reader, I hope you are not doing anything that will disqualify you from going with Him on that day. Search your life deeply and sincerely right now.

The bitter truth is that many Christians shall be left behind. "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

The bottom line is that any Christian who is not living right, who is manifesting the works of the flesh as listed in Galatians 5:19-21 and anyone living in any kind of sin, whether big or small, shall be left behind when the Master comes to take His people home. If your life is not right, repent now before it is too late.

Matthew 5:13 "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

MESSAGE:

Christianity is not a religion but a way of life that stresses the assimilation of the heavenly culture as exemplified by the life of Jesus Christ. It is noteworthy that the primary focus of Jesus in His great teaching in the Sermon on the Mount as recorded in the Book of Matthew is to emphasise the quality of life every believer must strive to imbibe as a matter of necessity.

Christianity is about character. Such character is founded upon the principle of life and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. There is an event contrast between the prevalent character and dispositions of the Jews and the Kingdom character Jesus wants His disciples to embrace. The Jews had serious moral lapses and deep spiritual infirmities. The disciples were not to be grouped together with the Pharisees and other perverted people of their generations; they must be people with divine character mode and must see themselves as the salt of the earth.

Why did Jesus choose the imagery of the salt? Why are you called the salt of the earth by the Master? Salt is a seasoner of great value. You can imagine what any food without salt will taste like in the mouth. Salt sweetens and improves the taste of any meal it is added to. Salt also preserves and prevents rottenness. Salt also aids the healing process of certain ailments.

It then follows that you, as a salt of the earth, must always try your best possible to impact your world positively wherever the Lord will graciously place you in life. You must bring healing to the embattled souls around you, sweeten your world with the aura of the life of Jesus you are bearing, preserve godliness and reverse moral decadence wherever you are.

Jesus lived a life of undeniable impact during His earthly ministry. He added colour and taste when the marriage feast at Cana Galilee was going to flop. He raised the son of the widow of Nain to life and ended mourning in the city. He brought joy back to the family and neighbourhood of Lazarus when death snatched him untimely. Jesus taught us how to be salt in our generation. May you not lose your taste in these perilous times, in Jesus' name.

The only relevant vessels to God's purpose are salted Christians.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

MESSAGE:

Light has been defined as something that illuminates, enlightens and informs. It is synonymous with things that are notable, luminous and things that stand out. The world, on the other hand, has been defined as the human society with its inhabitants and all things upon it. It could also mean the concerns of the earth and its affairs as distinguished from heaven and the life to come. 

'You are the light of the world' is a direct declaration by our Lord Jesus Christ in His Sermon on the Mount. It contains a revelation of God's principles of righteousness for us to live a victorious Christian life through faith in Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The world and Christians are two distinct groups of people. The world is presently in rebellion against God's rule, enslaved to satan and under his dominion. The people of the world are in deception and darkness; they have a distorted view of life, values and religion; they follow immoral ways of life and reject the standards of God's word. 1 John 5:19b says, "..... and the whole world lieth in wickedness."

God's children are meant to stand out and be the light amidst the dark world in their thoughts, words and deeds. 1 John 1:5b says: "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all."

To be like our Father and in obedience to Jesus' command, we are to project all the characteristics of light as defined above and many more. We are to be set apart from the world, its corrupt system, unholy associations, partnerships and compromise. 1 Peter 2:9 says, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light."

Beloved, God expects you to make positive difference wherever you are. As light in this dark world, you should make impacts like Jesus who went about doing good. Let your light so shine that men will see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

MESSAGE:

One last lesson that we need to learn from Hannah is that of thanksgiving. She worshipped, praised and magnified God who turned her mourning to dancing as well as her shame to honour. She had the right response: genuine gratitude. The wordings of her song of praise and thanksgiving (1 Samuel 2:1-10) reveal the nature of battle she had fought and how marvellous God has been in fighting for her. Beloved, I encourage you to make giving thanks, praise and worship to God a daily habit. You will receive more blessings from God.

It is important to note that after Hannah had given God quality thanks and had given Samuel back to God to minister to Him as she had vowed, God blessed her even more. 1 Samuel 2:18-21 underscores this, "But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod. Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice. And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home. And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD."

Beloved, note that Hannah expressed her deep and sincere gratitude to God in her prayer, worship and praise. She was thankful for one son and God gave her three sons and two daughters more. God wiped off her tears, silenced her mockers and turned her sorrow to joy. Are you trusting God for a marital breakthrough, fruit of the womb or something else? Declare a season of thanksgiving and praise to God. Do not stop until you have the assurance that your request has been granted.

I also want you to note that Hannah did not abandon God, the house of God where her prayer was answered nor God's priest, Eli. In 1 Samuel 1:17, Eli said, "Go in peace and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou has asked of him." Immediately after this the Bible affirms that Elkanah knew Hannah and God remembered her. It was the same Priest Eli who blessed the couple and Hannah conceived and had five more children. Beloved, believe God and you will be established; believe His prophet and you will prosper (2 Chronicles 20:20).

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and abundance.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

MESSAGE:

Still discussing on lessons to learn from Hannah, it would be incomplete if we ignore the humility of Hannah. Humility is a Christlike virtue. God gives grace, lifting and fulfilment to the humble. This godly quality in the life of Hannah was proved and brought to the fore when Priest Eli reprimanded her while she was praying in Shiloh. The priest, who thought that she was drunk, made comments that would have infuriated her. Hannah took the comment humbly and in good spirit. She patiently explained to the aged priest that she was only pouring her heart to God in prayer. The priest saw his mistake and prayed for her. God honoured the prayer and opened her womb. Hannah fulfilled her vow to God. One of the reasons some people are having strange problems and battles is that they have refused to pay the vow they made. God has records of your vows and pledges. Once you make a vow, you are duty bound to pay it. Ensure you do so as soon as possible. The Bible says that it is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfil it. Failure to pay your vow will attract negative consequences. Don't make vows rashly or foolishly. God is a judge of our motives and intentions.

Hannah's faithfulness in giving Samuel to God to serve Him all his life attracted bigger bundles of testimonies to her life. She had six more children. Her faithfulness turned the woman once called barren to a mother of glorious children, including one of the greatest prophets in Israel.

As a child of God, when you seek His face in prayer concerning any challenge, He will give you the key or strategy to solve the problem. Yours may not be a vow. I remember a man who had a challenge in his career and the Lord led him to increase his tithe to 20%. The problem was miraculously solved and his desire was granted. Our God is a strategist and solution provider. Taste and see that the Lord is good.

MESSAGE:

It is important to state that Hannah was a prayer warrior. Her problem made her better not bitter. It drew her closer to God in worship. It worked out patience in her. She did not complain or condemn God at any time for her plight. Beloved, prayer is the master key that unlocks the storehouse of heaven. Prayer brings God's power and grace to bear on human situations and turns them around for good. A popular saying goes thus, "Why worry when you can pray." You have a prayer answering God. Heed His word in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Hannah took this step and became victorious.

Are you sick? Tell Jesus about it. Are you unemployed? Tell Jesus about it. Are you in need of financial breakthrough? Tell Jesus about it. Whatever your burden or concern, Jesus will bear it and make your joy to be full. There is no friend like Him. The open invitation from Jesus in our Memory Verse is still fresh and available to as many that desires to come to Him.

Hannah must have prayed all manner of prayers. The most important thing is that she connected to God more than man; even Eli the priest couldn't decode what her challenge was. As a New Testament believer, I encourage you to pray in the spirit and in understanding. Pray in the day and at night. Pray without ceasing. The God that answers prayers will answer you, in the name of Jesus.

Also, Hannah made a vow. She must have been led by the Spirit of God. Her vow had peculiar feature. She asked God for a son and promised to make the son serve God all his life. That condition must have impressed God. Many people ask for things from God and do not get them because their request or petition is not in line with the will of God; others, because their motives are wrong and would not glorify God. God knows our hearts and nothing is hidden from Him. Also, I want you to note that Hannah did not ask for a son to compete or contest against Peninah, rather, she focused on God and made Him her avenger.

MESSAGE:

The Bible is filled with illustrious male and female characters whose words and deeds qualify them as role models or worthy examples of believers for our generation. One of such characters is Hannah. Though an Old Testament personality, Hannah remains exemplary in faith, prayer and godly virtues till today. Let us examine some important lessons we need to learn from her.

Hannah was a Hebrew woman who was connected to God by covenant. She was a believer and a worshipper. The Bible affirms her yearly trip to Shiloh in company of her husband, Elkanah. She had relationship with the Most High God and was a Kingdom seeker. Beloved, whether you win or lose, succeed or fail in life depends on where you stand with God. Is God your Father, or are you His enemy? Hannah was rightly positioned with God.

Hannah had a challenge: she was barren. To worsen her situation, her fruitful senior wife, Peninah, was always taunting and mocking her. This made her very sad. In the midst of these insults and mockery hurled at her by Peninah, Hannah did not quarrel with her, rather as a woman of peace, she kept trusting God. Also, her husband kept reassuring her of his love. Beloved, I decree that all those who are mocking you and asking where is your God will see your turnaround miracles and celebrate with you very soon, in Jesus' name.

Hannah was a woman of faith. In spite of her challenge, she did not seek help from man. In her steadfast and unwavering faith, she stayed in God, trusting Him for His mercy and intervention. Unlike some believers who visit ungodly places in the name of looking for solution to their problems. Hannah did not allow the enemy to deceive her. She decided to cling to God with an uncompromising faith, believing that He could do all things. God did not fail her! Beloved, faith in God wins! Stay in faith! Hannah did and she received answer to her prayers. You shall experience the same, in Jesus' name.

Our Fire Scripture today gives an account of the life of Joseph and how God promoted him. If you take time to read through Joseph's story, you would know how numerous problems he encountered before God intervened and helped him. Potiphar's wife accused him of rape and was cast in to prison for the crime he didn't commit. Here was a man who had dreamt of greatness when he was a young boy. Yet, he ended up in a strange land. He was imprisoned and suffered greatly for many years. But because he never gave up on God, God was with him at all times, even in the prison. God gave him favour in the sight of everyone in the prison such that the keeper of the prison committed to his hand all the prisoners in the prison. That was the beginning of the journey to his promotion. Unknown to him, God was preparing for him a position in the high places among the nobles of the land. Joseph eventually became Prime Minister in Egypt; he was next to the king in rank.

This is a lesson for you and me. When you are going through problems in life, do not be discouraged nor dismayed. Remember, as long as you remain in the path of righteousness, God shall be with you!

Do you covet God's abiding presence and power at all times and in all situations? Then put your trust in Him and remain steadfastly in faith. That is why reading and meditating on the Bible day and night is so important, because the word of God is power. When you do this, God will definitely appear in your situation and your promotions will locate you. Unburden your worries and anxieties before God in prayer; He will answer by fire. God will move in your case and open for you great doors in places you least expect.

God did it in the life of Daniel and his three Hebrew friends. Esther and the Jews saw the awesome power of God at work in the land of captivity. They were not only delivered from death; they ruled over their enemies. This shall be your portion when you look up unto God, who lifts His beloved from problems to promotion, in the name of Jesus.

The family is the foundational institution of society created by God, but there are powers that are bent on wasting families. The devil understands that a family where Christ reigns is a terror to his kingdom. However, God will become a spectator in the affairs of any family that decides not to involve Him in its affairs.

When a family is being afflicted by wasting powers, both the husband and wife will be busy working strongly against each other. They will quarrel and fight always. Their children will also become defiant and unruly, peace and harmony will be totally absent. Such a home is a perfect stage set for the devil to unleash terror. There will be disorderliness and confusion. No member of that family can escape the wrath of the enemy under such a circumstance. That is why it is very important for everyone to work hard to ensure that peace reigns, especially parents who have been divinely appointed as custodians of the home.

For peace to reign in a home or family, the Lord Jesus Christ must be made the Head. It must be a home where Christ reigns supreme because He is the Prince of Peace. In a family where Christ rules, there is order! The role of every member is well spelt out and everyone performs their role as dictated by the word of God. Such families stand out and serve as good examples to others. Any family that is in Christ Jesus will experience peace, progress and prosperity in all areas of life.

There are countless benefits to enjoy when Jesus Christ is in the centre of a home. Do you want to enjoy these benefits in your own home, then invite Jesus into your life and home, if you have not already done so. But if you have, then you need to seek the face of the Lord to know where you have missed it and make the necessary adjustments.

MESSAGE:

Jesus promised to make His disciples fishers of men. We cannot forget that these men were earlier on fishermen; hence the need for Jesus to make them know what is expected of them as they began to operate among men in their individual capacity as proclaimers of the Kingdom of God. This was the beginning of His teachings to those He would hand over the Commission to (His disciples).

Jesus purposely avoided the crowd from coming to Him; hence, He went and sat down on a mountainside in order to have ample time in teaching His disciples. The Beatitudes is the first and longest message of Jesus that we have in the gospel. Before now, Jesus was announcing that the Kingdom of God was at hand, calling people to repentance. He needed to equip His immediate aides, who having known the demands of the Kingdom, shall be able to live accordingly and also teach others to do the same.

The sermon tells us how righteous we must be to enter the Kingdom. It is a teaching that brings out the qualities and character of a true candidate of heaven, fit to receive the full blessings of the Kingdom. It shows us the perfect picture of a true disciple of Christ who is qualified to be a joint heir of the promise.

Jesus addressed those who are poor in the spirit and gave them the assurance that they would gain eternity in heaven. Those who mourn shall have the assurance of divine comfort by the Spirit of the Lord (Isaiah 61:3). The meek shall inherit the earth. He stressed that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. As many as are merciful shall receive mercy, while only those who are pure in heart shall see the Lord. The peacemakers shall be called sons of God, because Jesus is Himself the Prince of Peace.

He rounded off by making His disciples realise that they shall be persecuted for righteousness sake, even as older prophets were persecuted, but enjoined them to rejoice because they have a reward in heaven. This message is still relevant to us today, if truly we are children of God, who are looking forward to make heaven and see God at last.

Let your attitude and conduct be a true representation of heavenly bound Christians.

As we continue yesterday's message, the familiar story of Goliath versus the army of Israel readily comes to mind. The enemy's stronghold in this instance was the war front. Goliath, the captain of the Philistine army, was nothing but a terrorising enemy, harassing and tormenting his opponents, so much that they forgot that they had the backing of the God of Israel who never loses a battle. Thank God that, though the entire army of Israel was gripped with fear and lost all hope of defeating this enemy, David, the shepherd boy, arose in the might and power of the Lord God of Israel and overcame the boastful giant with a mere sling and one stone.

The message here is that the weapon of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to pull down the stronghold of the strong man, bind him and recover all stolen goods from his enclave by the awesome power in the name of Jesus. These goods are the virtues of men, blessings, riches, promotion, finances, children, good health and all good things of life.

Having realised that this enemy is not physical, although some may manifest through humans, yet there is a wicked spirit that backs up the evil supervisory power in the life of men. As a result, every effort must be made to bind the strong man and render his power useless. Fear not! There is deliverance for the captives of the mighty and the prey of the terrible by the power of God.

You must ensure that you don't toy with sin. Prayerfully identify the strong man of your family, the power supervising your environment, the one sitting on your greatness and progress. Call upon the Strongest, Jesus Christ, the Mighty Man in battle, the Captain of the heavenly army. It is time to war a good warfare. Holy aggression and violence is the only language the strong man understands; bring it to bear (Matthew 11:12). No negotiation, no compromise!

Engage in spiritual warfare. Put on the whole armour of God, as stated in Ephesians 6:10-11. Use all offensive weapons of God at your disposal. Fight the fight of faith. Let Jesus fight for you and victory will be yours.

Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

MESSAGE:

Who is a strong man from the spiritual point of view? He is that strong spiritual personality that delights in putting the souls of men into captivity. He is a principality. He is also an evil spiritual personality that controls a spiritual stronghold with every available weapon of darkness to hold his prisoners in place.

Just as it is not easy in the physical sense to disarm a man that is stronger than one, the same applies to the spiritual situation of an individual who is in the captivity of the strong man. It takes a stronger personality to pull down his stronghold, disarm him and liberate the prisoners and their goods. The strong man, in this instance, is this cohort of the devil who is holding down men under bondage and untold hardship. The stronger than him is Jesus!

How do you identify the strong man and his operations in a man's life? The identification marks include: the activities of ancestral powers, wicked elders, satanic monitoring officers, satanic police officers, and all related evil personalities. The strong man is the one that enforces evil inheritances, evil family patterns, satanic transactions and evil cycles in a lineage even unto generations. He is in charge of financial losses, bankruptcy and debts. He also enforces marital distress, tragedies and disasters, stagnancy and limitations, poverty and all such.

The strong man is an unrepentant wicked personality; flesh and blood cannot overcome him; he is best handled by the Strongest Man, Jesus, according to Philippians 2:9. Interestingly, Jesus has already disarmed and triumphed over the strong man by His death on the Cross, according to Colossians 2:13-14. This divine privilege is available for all those that love God and have surrendered their lives to Jesus, proclaiming Him Lord and Saviour. Physical and spiritual liberty is possible through Christ Jesus; embrace it and be set free today from every stronghold of darkness, in Jesus' name.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY

I DECREE THAT THE SPIRITUAL DYNAMITE OF THE ALMIGHTY SHALL BLAST OPEN ALL EVIL STRONGHOLDS AROUND YOUR LIFE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. O thunder power of God, strike down the strong man and his stronghold around my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. Ancestral strong man of my father’s house, lose your grip over my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. Angelic army of God, disarm and overpower every strong man of darkness working against my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Wicked elders supervising my case, fire of God, scatter them, in the name of Jesus.

5. Satanic verdict from the stronghold of darkness, be overruled by the divine verdict of God, in the name of Jesus.

6. O God, arise and deliver me from enemies that are too strong for me, in the name of Jesus.

7. I enter into the victory of the Cross of Jesus, by the power in His blood and I begin to triumph over every power of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
